Your sons and daughters are fortunate to have been provided the ISGA School Golf Program. Your school believes all students – physically gifted or not, big or small, boy or girl should have an opportunity to have interests that get them active and outdoors for the rest of their life. Many of these students actually believe it is too late for them to learn a new activity! That is because they view athletics as a “school-only” experience. Not many of them will don football pads after senior year in high school. But did you know some of golf’s greatest players didn’t even play golf until they were in their late teens? And not many students know that golf is one of the few sports in which men and women can compete on an equal footing, yet many ladies golf scholarships go unused as girls pursue sports that do not offer a future after graduation?

Golf is an all-inclusive sport that will develop important life skills such as self reliance and sportsmanship while young people are enjoying themselves. It could well be one of the most important assets your child takes from school.

The ISGA is passionate about breaking up the long held belief that golf is expensive, and is available only to wealthy socialites.
